I've got a problem with my hst cycle. You see, i have trained for years with heavy weights(5RM-10RM). In the past year, I even trained same bodyparts every day! Now I think that the level of conditioning of my muscles is too high. I took 16 days of SD, but as I proceeded into the HST cycle I noticed that I was not gaining size. I ate well(3000 plus calories, i weight 185). Even more, I only focused training chest and arms to test. I have also increased the volume of training (2-3 sets) to be sure I am "inducing damage" to the fibers. I don't know what to do. Maybe I need to take more time of Strategic Deconditioning before I can make any progress. I read somewhere that the repeated bout effect lasts months. Maybe the appropiate SD should last more than 9-12 days...If anyone could help I would appreciate.

I'd found 14 days to work well...maybe you're just a secret superman! I'd read someone's post a while back that a true SD actually would take a month or so, but we don't like to lose so much uptime, plus most of us get results from 9-14.
My guess? It's entirely possible that you're in fantastic shape and need more, as you suspect. But you haven't said how far into the cycle you are. A lot of us don't seem to show any growth in the 15's. It's that or the effects just show up in the tens.

Well..im starting with the 5's...
I know that HST is right because believe me, I've tried almost everything. And many times I have noticed that I was getting stronger but not bigger. What I would like to see is more info about research about the RBE.

Me too. And I didn't grow on my first cycle of HST, but mostly because I came here from MuscleNow (very brutal) and was overconditioned for this. Growth for me was more measured in strength than size, (I'm not young or full of hormones) but size and weight was attained...until about the 7th cycle, when it fell off and I had to change to other things. (5x5)
