I still cannot log onto the MS forum since changing my email so here is a question aimed towards the MS crowd:

Sodium carbonate and calcium carbonate (Tums), have been used by athletes to increase the lactic acid buffering capacity of the blood. Do you think this kind of thing could work for reducing muscle fatigue as well? I remember that you were once looking at the differences between continuous loading and rest-pause type loading on bone. What if we could reduce fatigue during a continuous set? What would that mean biologically speaking?
