Solo Training Article

A good article and I agree with him. Some training partners aren't motivating for you, and in my book, that's a drag on your program. You'd be better off alone than dealing with Talking Ted, Greg the Girl-watcher, or Emo Eddie the Excusemaker.

Agreed, Quad.

Knowing when to quit is a good point too. I almost pushed too far this evening and I now have an overly sore quad to massage back to health for a few days but, thankfully, nothing more serious.

Sometimes the pursuit of a goal can make you push one step too far; but injury can easily cost a lot of time away from training and set you back much more than if you'd just stopped when you had the first indication that something wasn't right.

I was a bit dumb tonight but I got away with it. Lesson learned (I hope).

Nope. We'll always make mistakes.
