I'm thinking of ordering one of these so I can work on my leg strength while I still have a lumbar spine injury. I've had no pain lately, and I'm still moving boxes at UPS. That involves a lot of deadlift/bentover row movements, but I've been keeping up with rehab work from McGill and McKenzie, and I make sure to keep proper form. I only get pain after slouching in my chair for awhile, which is my own fault.
That said, does anyone think this device would be a good investment to let me start training again? I figure I can squat with this, bench, row chest-supported, do chinups, and dips. I'd be missing out on olylifts, deadlifts and OHP, but for now, those listed exercises sound like they'll suffice for now.
