Trying to bulk - should I do cardio?

That is pretty much my question.

I am a good amount underweight, should I do cardio? If so, when during my routine?
 
I would start out with cardio because I think it helps recovery between sets and stuff like that. There are also hormonal benefits from it. However uf you cannot gain weight when you are doing cardio and absolutely cannot eat any more then I would cut it out.
 
Like bgates said, it may have some effect on conditioning that could be helpful. However, if you find you cannot get in enough food, then quit doing it.

I would absolutely recommend that you do NOT do HIIT or Tabata or anything else intense. Stick to low intensity, steady state cardio. You want to keep the cardio light so you can focus on lifting the weights more.
