    Stength training and muscle fibers?

I think it's the ability to recruit more muscle fibres and also the decrease in GTO inhibitions and there's more to it but i can't remember. on a sidenote- can anyone tell me the porpotions of myofibrillar hypertrophy compared to sarcoplasmic. Now myofibrillar means you still grow but not as...

    strength training

Ok understood, but i'm pretty intrigued by this. What's the ussual way of getting around this type of road block? How do you get bigger to get stronger without getting stronger first? :) Supporting exercises that are similar to the main ones for a different pattern of muscle fibre recruitement...

    strength training

sorry do you mean if the routine was set-up properly, there wouldnt arise a plateau? I assumed that it worked similar to bodybuilding as at times you have strength plateaus and you can't get bigger without getting stronger but you can't get stronger till you get bigger and hence SD. Does this...

    strength training

What's the best way of overcoming plateaus in strength athletes routines? Most of them change the routine up, do supporting exercises to their main ones for better muscle fibre recruitement, and create different tensions on the muscles with different exercises. While this might work, isn't the...

    CNS and muscle

The spilt looks good to me as far as splits go that is. This is exactly what splitters do. will you be going to localized neural fatigue by the last set or close to it then for every bodypart in every session. Localized neural fatigue altho not associated with growth and helps with neural...

    CNS and muscle

If that is so then what do the conventionals stop to? do they stop somewhere close to localized neural failure?....i mean this is acceptable isn't it? seeying as how they will only work that muscle again in 7 days time. That'll give them enough time to recover from the localized fatigue?

Implementing a "Long Term Plan" for Body Recomp.

HIIT- high intensity interval training. It is the best form of anaerobic+aerobic exercise bar non. I say anaerobic as HIIT is so intense, it can get anaerobic at times. Look at my thread which no one has yet to reply to. HIIT is very beneficial whether you're bulking or cutting.[for those who...

Implementing a "Long Term Plan" for Body Recomp.

I've been thinkin about this Mr.nasty and your idea here is very similar to the way i bulk. I still create a 500cals surplus in my diet but i also do cardio during my non lifting days. I do 30 mins of HIIT. This helps me maintain CV fitness, reduce fat gains and it helps muscle growth too...

Implementing a "Long Term Plan" for Body Recomp.

TBH i think it might have a pretty decent chance of working...sure it's been suggested before. aining muscle whilst losing fat..it's possible...slow but possilble. I just don't like the slow part. I wish it worked great...i would love to do this. I've tried doing this many times in the past and...

    bulking and cutting phases ratio

pls clearify are you saying my cutting or bulkin phases are too short or are you referring to my HST cycles. If it's the cycles you're talking about then the answer is i don't often do 15s. I only do them every so often when i'm feeling an injury might pop up if i don't.

    bulking and cutting phases ratio

I'm planing on going on mini bulking and cutting phases on my HST cycles. I'm about 200lbs @15%BF currently and am looking to cut to maybe 12% on my current cycle...i would think reducing calories 500cals/day would do the trick plus cardio of course. I'm thinking of 1 cycle being able to shed...
