    Who cares about steroids?

I love the 'cut' look to. Not super huge mutant muscles, but "more" then average with a low body fat. abs, pecks and biceps :) "frat boy" look  What is andropause?

AAS and maintaining past your natural limit

Why don't professional athletics go into "chemically enhanced training" for 3-4 years, then say stop for a year (or how ever long it takes the system to flush all traces) then go back to professinal sports with "super human" strength?

    Rice?

WOW! Thanks! Didn't know those things existed. Googling for one now. How long do they ussually take to cook 2 cups of rice up?

    Rice?

I love rice, but it's a PITA waiting 30+ minutes for it to get done cooking. Is that instant brown rice any good? It cost a lot of $$$, but might be worth it if is good rice. Any tricks to this to getting normal rice cooked faster? Lately I've been just hitting the oatmeal and beans (in a can)...

    Whey Protein Problems

You might want to consider laying off the raw eggs: From the FDA: http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/CONSUMER/CON00072.html Some other goverment site: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez....bstract The risk is low, but still there. Maybe mix you whey with Milk? Milk ussually has a decent amount of...

    Overtraining systemic vs. localized?

BUMP sorry, but I thought I've read many places that a muscle takes 48 hours to 'heal' it's self. Could I say do my normal HST cycle buy exclude biceps, then PARELLEL to that cycle do a 'double' HST cycle just for the biceps but do it ever day so it takes the same time amount as the normal...

    Calves

What's a good exercise for the calves? I have access to dumbells, but don't have access anymore to the fancy calf machine at the gym (that thing rocked). I'm clumbsy as an OX, any other exercises besides calve raises? Can I just hold a DB in one hand and use the other to balance me on the wall?

    Hard gainer

Yea, I'm getting a ton of protein. Not sure the exact amount, but do apox 90 grams in the morning, 60 before a workout, 60 afterwards (this is just from shakes). Also eat lots of chicken breasts (30 grams) and cottage cheese (not sure, but has high protien). At the very least I'm pulling in...

    hypertrophy

"So, in summary, hypertrophy involves: 1) Tipping the scales of protein synthesis and protein breakdown to favor protein synthesis. 2) Cellular microtrauma that leads to the activation of satellite cells and the donation of their nuclei to damaged cells" - Bryan I under stand the...

    "Explosive" Pushups?

I think he means, elevated as in he puts them on something, like a stack of books or whatever. Picture this: a wooden box the size of a case of beer Put your feet on the box, so it elevates them, while in the normal "push up" position. This will put more "gravity" on your...

    Limited machines available

You could just buy dumbells from 25-65 pounds and keep them in the gym room (just tell mangement)... with a good set of dumbells you can work your entire upper body (chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, abs, etc). I really don't work my legs much, but you should be able to do things like...

    Hard gainer

I have a lot of trouble putting on muscle weight.... I can drop fat/muscle mass really easy but putting it on takes forever. I have a low body fat (not sure the percent, the little caps I have say 11% but don't think that's accurate). Right now I'm eating around 3000-3600 cals per day between 6...

    Adding resistance to abs workout

For crunches/situps I just hold a dumbell on my chest or one in each hand (on each shoulder with crossed arms so they don't jiggle around).. Not sure about leg raises, maybe just get a rope and tie a dumbell/plate on your legs? :) (maybe put a small peice of cloth around the rope so you...

    Working the back

:) thanks for your advice everyone. I've been doing 'reverse dumbell flyers' to hit the back of the shoulders, that works well and using 'dumbell miltary press' to hit the "tops" of the shoulders... my upper back is doing good. Also going to throw in some chin ups (thanks Kate :) )...

    Working the back

I work out in my apartment's gym. They have a good dumbell set, but everything else is junk. They have a chin bar that and one of those um, dip bars? They also have some cable stuff, one that pulls down. They don't have a row machine or lat pull down machine. I've been trying rows, but it...
