Ok...
I am trying to lose wieght/fat.
I LOVE ALMONDS... and I read how it is a perfect snack food...
SO I eat almonds... 5 @ a time, so that by the end of the day I have eaten anywhere from 40 - 50 almonds! Today I eat 40 and can easily eat 40 more!
40 Almonds = 277 cal, 24g of FAT! 9g carbs. 10g protein.
Now I heard the fat is good fat. etc. but adding 200 cal from fat on top of my diet is a little nerve racking.
Can anyone shed some light on how healthy almonds are?
What is a good number of almonds to eat a day if I am trying to lose weight?
Thanks in advance.

It is true that the fat in almonds isn't as bad as most other fatty foods. Almonds also have a lot of fiber in them, which is good.

The number of almonds you can eat and still lose weight depends on how much you weigh...
