I was thinking a few weeks to allow more time to heal. The pain is in the anterior portion of the shoulder... I good shot of pain right there when curling anything in and around 80 to 90lbs.
I'm leary about doing 5rm's now...particularly the bench and curls... I had to lower the BB down on myself when reping that 155lbs when I got a twang in my shoulder. Good think I'm not benching 300lbs!

Stop curling period. Any isolation movement at around a 5RM is not something you want to do, let alone curling.

You probably have tendonitis of the bicep tendon at the insertion point of the shoulder.

If you're not going to continue onto 5RM, then SD for 9-12 days. It's probably not that bad. If you SD for a month you're going to regret it. If you go back into 15s in your next cycle and are still feeling a lot of pain, then you've got a real injury in that area and then go from there.

Curls are useless outside of injury-facilitated training.

I'll save the curls for the 15 and 10's only...
    Haven't don't 2 weeks of 15's since forever anyways.

I dropped curls several months ago. I didn't miss it in anyway and my shoulders are thankful.

I'm pretty sure I advised against doing heavy curls and isos in the ebook?

    Yes, you did.

But why follow that advice when carb back loading is that the latest fad?

At 167.8lbs and came down with another damn cold! Sucks...
Nearing the end of my 10rm's so I have no idea of what gains I've accomplished, besides the weight increase...

You don't have to end your cycle because of a cold...

Are you suggesting that I work thru it or continue where I'm at after a week or so?

I would try and work through it and cluster to ten reps if I am struggling!!

I'll give it a go.... Certainly not gonna be enjoyable!

If it's just a head cold, you can continue doing what you're doing. Taking a week off is going to screw up your cycle and working through a head cold isn't dangerous.

Feel a little weird in the head....
Residual meds wearing off from earlier today. Started my workout where I left off (as I've been off for 4 days). Strength seems fine, but I'm just going to work my big compounds still this cold passes.
