The big dog looks a bit like a front view of K-9 from the Dr. Who TV show, which aired over here in Limeyland in the 80's.

I've had nothing but problems with the stripgenerator site; won't work when I log in, so had to make a 'toon and use my screensaver to copy it; then it came out small. I'm trying to contact them about it, but can't because it won't let me post anything there either. Maybe a problem with my computer? I dunno.
