CG pull downs; 10-40 kg, 3x10-80kg.

Will finish off this evening.

Another quick session. Happy with the form and bar speed.

Short workout, didn’t want to grind out at 272.5kg though.

7 days straight now, can feel the fatigue but also sense I’m recovering through it a little bit better.

OHO; 5-60kg, 70kg, 3-80kg, 1-85kg, 90kg@7, [email protected]. Mis-grooved the 95. 10-60kg. Felt a pinch in the right shoulder so stopped at that.

Abs; 10-40kg, 3x10-60kg.


Will try for more deadlifts tonight.

Day 11

DL, modified V stance; 1-200kg, 220kg, 240kg, 270kg@8, 290kg fail, [email protected]. Thought 290 might be there based on the 260, but barely broke it off the floor. 280 didn’t have a sticking point again, and broke well enough, so I’ll take the trade.

Only took 20mins with the extra set (290 fail). I feel that I’ve properly adjusted to the daily training and am getting enough of a sense of when to do a single vs a double vs a triple. Potentially going for 3-4 at either 250 or 260 tomorrow morning, dependent upon recovery from these three days at 280.

Yo bro, when you do box squats, do you sit down and unload completely, or just lower and feel the bench then straight up? I know people do it differently, but I've been doing box squats in this cycle (pre-SI joint injury timeout.. but trying to finally get back to training legs a bit more after all the pelvic issues has been more settled).

Have loved it, feels less stressful on the knees too!

Unload the weight, but not any of the tension in my body. It’s the equivalent of putting the bar down during a deadlift, but keeping the slack pulled out. The weight is released, but your body is maintaining its tension.
 
Day 12

DL, modified V stance; 3-200kg, 1-220kg, 240kg, 250kg, [email protected], 270kg. Went for a double at 270 but didn’t happen. Still bothered my a chest virus that means reps with a belt turn into coughs. Will do something lighter tomorrow.

Rear raises; 4x10kg.

Abs; 10-60kg, 2x8-70kg.

Evening;
DL; 1-200kg, 220kg, 240kg, 260kg@8, [email protected].

Probably dumb to double up on a DL everyday schedule...but fuck it. Don’t expect I’ll be going over 250/260 tomorrow.

Ahhh okay cool, yep makes sense, have been experimenting with both with just the touch and go and full deload, both work well for their own reasons, but yeah good point not completely relaxing with the bar on your shoulders hehe.

All you are doing at that precise point is sitting down onto the box/bench/chair/pad/whatever. Nothing else changes about tension or positioning.
 
Day 13

4:20am - alarm goes off, proceed turn it off and to sleep through it

5:58am - reawaken, workout

6:21am - wake up family

I’ll take it considering I had been awake 20mins, and today was going to be lighter anyway.
