Hello everyone!
I have read through the previous threads touching upon DUP and I have some questions.
What do you people think about mixing the principles of HST and DUP a bit?
For example having three sessions in the week with varying rep ranges and then dropping the rep ranges a bit lower as...
Hello everyone?
Moving on to week 7 & 8 soon and I have a quick question.
What do you guys think of using the 3x3 scheme on the main lifts (squat, deadlift, bench ,overhead press) and then adding a drop set with 8-12 reps?
For example doing 3x3 squats and then one set of 8 with less weight...

Ah I see... I initially thought that the chart was for a one definitive workout 3 times a week.
Will maybe adjust the selection when I start the next 6-8week cycle :)

I'm about to move on to the fifth week of the HST -program. So far the program has been pretty good!

Overhead press 2x10
Weighted Pull Ups 2x10
Weighted Dips 2x10
CGBench 2x10
Seated Cable Row 2x10...
I have done weighted chins and dips in the past with a belt :)
I can do 12-15 chins just fine without added weight, but not with additional plates hanging.
Would it be dumb to progress in reps for the first 2 weeks, and then as the rep ranges get lower, progress with added weight?
Thanks!
Thank you for the replies! I figured altering the rep ranges more would make progressing in weight easier, but I will consider what you both said.
I've always done squats and deads back to back, so I doubt that will be a problem.
I am currently slowly bulking up and trying to pack on some...
Good evening everyone!
I've ran Canditos program and a modified version of the Texas Method in the past.
I've always done basic strength training but am now interested to try some more hypertrophy oriented training, just out of curiosity. I've read the E-book and the "Pimp" e-book aswell.
I'm...
