Wondering how most of you treat your diet during your SD phase. Do you keep it clean, lower the cals since activity levels are low or just take a break and eat whatever you wish?

Wrapped up first cycle and went from 226 to 236lbs. I did the basic routine as outlined. I will SD for around 9 days and repeat. Rountine was:
wk 1-2 2 sets 15reps or rep speed slowed
wk 3 2 sets 10reps or rep speed slowed
wk 4 1 set 10reps
wk 5 2 sets 5 reps
wk 6 1 set 5 reps, removed isolation...
THis is the start of my final week of my 1st HST cycle. Needless to say I am in my max weight range but since I have caught the flu I wonder if I should even attempt to try a workout. I feel weak and tired. ANy advice on this weeks workout?
Thanks. There is alot of contradictory info I read. I Read in one FAQ section that 15's 2 sets, 10's 1st wk 2 sets then 2nd week 1 set, same for the 5's. Last night I read about guys doing 3 sets of 5's? Confusing
I thought I had a grasp of the HST theory. But after checking in with the board after some time it seems I might be doing things wrong!!

Finished my 1st 2 weeks with HST training and I start my 10RM week tomorrow. Looking for any thoughts or adivce before my workout tomorrow. Program looks like:

Leg Ext
Flat Bench
Rows
Military
Machine Pullovers
Shrugs
Calf raises
Tri Ext
Barbell Curls
Abs
Yeah I meant 15 reps. So I should rest long enough, within reason before attempting my 2nd set? And this ofcourse is to make sure I can get my 15 reps again for the 2nd set. Do I have it right here? Thanks for the help.
Just wanted to clarify about going to failure. On the day you use your Max Weight for say 15 sets, each set should be done to failure correct? Today I did my first set of 15 easily. The 2nd set I went to failure around 10 reps. Is this right?
well i feel better now that I am hearing this. Thanks for the help guys. So I will continue my program and once the tempo slows I will stop the set instead of going to failure in pursuit of 15.
All I can say is that the deconditioning really worked! I did my 15, 10, 5 rep maxes and then took 9 days off. My maxes were accurate...I could have even added a few lbs on some. I was thinking about just doing 1 set? Would this have a negative or positive impact on my progress?
