Quote[/b] (Lars @ Feb. 18 2003,7:50)]However, if you're gaining fat, you do not need another burger with fries to maintain the added adipose tissue ;)
But the added weight in fat that you'll be carrying will also translate into increased caloric needs. Obviously muscle does play a much bigger role in this, but still....
That doesn't usually play out IRL. The added weight is also a disincentive to move. Unless you force yourself to still take the stairs, walk just as much and as far, don't sit more often, etc., the extra weight will not cause much compensatory calorie burn.
Ah, but provided all other thing are equal it will, just try doing all your everyday activities holding a 10 or 15 kg plate.
All things being equal, yes. But if I strap a 15 Kg plate to myself, I doubt I'll want to do all my daily activities, and IRL, neither will most people. Side issue: how many nested quotes can we make here?
At least five by the look of it.... :)
I see your five and raise you one!

And I was hoping I would be the one that could give subtle hints to everyone else that they should stop bein childish. Guess that'll never happen ;)
Careful, we could create a blackhole.

Hey, that's pretty cool... Another one of those threads which went completely off-topic

And I was hoping I would be the one that could give subtle hints to everyone else that they should stop bein childish. Guess that'll never happen ;)
Careful, we could create a blackhole.

Ummm...I was thinking...ummm...uh..no I forgot... :D
Oh, c'mon! Now you triggered my curiousity - and we all know what that did to the cat!
OMG! I went away and came back, but it's still here!
Yup, sure is...

What ? This thread ? I think it's a sign from above...
Must be... :D I think this thread should get the vote for "Most Off Topic Thread on the Internet".
Uhhh, I want to be a part of that record

I disagree. I like the symmetrical, hypnotic look it's getting. Nice for zonking out at the end of a hard day me thinks...

If you read it backwards very fast, it says "HST is good, Bryan is God"...It's true - really!
