    Deadlift: 315x3/275x7

    Wtd Dips: 245x5/210x10

    Machine Flyes: 205x5/175x10

CG Pulldowns: 200x4/170x8 ...lost a little strength here.

    DB Upright Rows: 47.5s x5/ 40s x10

    Hack Squats: 380x5/325x10

    Seated Calf raises: 120x5/100x10

    194 lb.s

My wife thinks I look good now at 14-15% bodyfat. Of course, as an obssessive bodybuilder, I am going more for the 8-10% chiseled muscle look, so there is still a ways of hell to go through yet.

One more workout, and that will complete Week 7 of my current HST cycle.

I decided to take a deconditioning period. I am also taking a break from the diet, and eating at maintenance for a week. I will probably only decondition for a short period this time (7 days), and then start again with relatively heavy loads, since I am cutting.

I need a reset, both in RBE and in metabolism.

I carbed up heavily last night, and took a hard pre-workout drink, my strength levels skyrocketed just from that!

    Awesome cycle.

  4. Congrats on all those PRs, SCI! What was your "hard pre-workout" drink? Preformulated powder or your own concoction?

Endorush, a bunch of caffeine and other chemicals.

Thanks guys, I am really psyched that I got PRs. While cutting! Very cool. I think I will definitely hit all my strength goals this year.

I had to be careful with my rib during leg press, but was very surprised to get a PR at 500 pounds +sled for 5 reps! :D
My legs are my most improved body part this cycle.

Still not lean enough. But definite progress.

Leaner than me. Arms are looking good. Traps, too.

Thanks T-man. Yeah, I hadn;t noticed the traps until you pointed it out. I guess the Deadlifts and shoulder-work I have been doing are definitely out helping there.

Not yet. My legs started out pretty small. So they are not much too look at, maybe i'll take some pics anyway.
But now that I am making good progress in the gym, they should fill out nicely this year.

Not lean enough? Tell the Mrs to just enjoy it, all the muscles belong to Sci :p

Nice work, can see definite gains compared to previous photos.

Actually, the wife thinks I look great and should stop dieting. I tried to explain to her partitioning and how my hobby (bodybuilding) is a bit more fun when the muscles are more visible with low body fat levels. I am going for 10% or 180 lb.s whichever comes first.

It's weird to be making PRs in the middle of a cut. To be fair, all PRs occurred after I carbed up and took a break from the diet. I am holding steady at 195 lb.s. I feel like its been long enough of a break. Today I started back on the diet.
