    Yes. Working isolations on the biceps and such will put relatively little stress on the CNS. Frank Zane used to bring up a lagging body part by working that one body part exclusively every day for 2 weeks. This is an extreme example of your hypothesis.

    I always like to get a bit fo fat post workout to slow the absoption of my post workout whey, so I mix it with milk. Also the casein in the milk slows it down some. And wouldn't carbs be the most preferable source for energy when they are ingested?
