    Appetite Supressant

Sorry, I forgot to explain that bromo = bromocriptine. I guess I shouldn't assume people know the lingo. Bromo was made popular by Lyle McDonald, who wrote an E-book explaining the science behind why it should work in tricking the body into believing that it is not in a starved state while...

    How to Boost appetite

Instead of trying to boost appetite, you can try to manipulate things the other way by eating foods that don't fill you up as much. I felt dianabol had some good recs on a high-cal shake here:

    Appetite Supressant

5-HTP tends to work well on carb cravings and has a good track record as far as safety. My only other suggestion would be Bromo, just try to binge on that, I dare you. Unfortunately it can be hard to find and some people can't tolerate the sides too well.

    Eating to GAIN

A lb of 4% lean beef has ~600cals. You may be using a higher fat% though. possibly you've lost fat and gained muscle. The absence of bodyfat really brings out definition, and many people confuse this with being 'more muscular'. Whatever the reason for people to notice, though, take it as a...

    What exactly is Kindey Stones?

What are kidney stones? How about maybe the most painfull experience you will ever have. They are usually either protein or calcium in composition, but unless you're genetically disposed, they only form under the rarest of conditions. I had a very very small kidney stone once upon a time...

    Eating to GAIN

OneMoreRep: Bulking is a bit of a balancing act, the idea of course being to gain the most amount of muscle and least amount of fat. (Insert Powerlifter joke here). The more food you eat, the more muscle you will gain, this is a fact. Overeating in itself without even training will grow...

I can't stop laughing and crying

Wow, this is almost too good to be true! Plus I've always felt my supplement arsenal was lacking something to address my spirituality.

    Wife's weight loss, cholesterol plateau

Statins: A class of cholesterol lowering prescription drugs. CLA: (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) A 'good' fat that is shown to have positive effects on body composition. HMB: A dietary supplement also shown to be beneficial in improving body composition. In the opinion of most, CLA and HMB have to...

    Basic Diet Plan

Many believe that as long as you're getting sufficient protein and a bare minimum of fat (15-20% of calories), the ratio's don't matter. For those who do believe ratio's make a difference, the vast majority will still claim that there is no 'ideal' ratio for everyone. If 50/25/25 works for you...

Looking for complete protein other than meat & co.

It all depends on the cut of meat. 4% fat ground beef is a staple of my diet. This may be one of the few cases where high(ish) quantities of soy protein are warranted.

Device that Measures Body Fat %

Same here, and I've found this to be a dependable measure of progress. It may not be correct in terms of the absolute value it reads out, but if you are losing fat the readings do go down predictably.

    Diet while being 'assisted'

You may want to emphasize carbs a bit more, as I believe I've read that androgens help increase insulin sensitivity in muscle. On the other hand though, the folks at Avant didn't seem to think that it mattered one way or the other. Couldn't hurt though.

    Basic Diet Plan

I don't think it was in regards to thermogenics, but in regards to anabolism. (I hope I haven't already screwed up my terminology). The 15% protein figure represent the most effecient use of calories in terms of creating an anabolic environment (given that one is in caloric excess, i think)...

Bulking while on an keto diet

I second the suggestion for a CKD. IMO, it would be rather tough to build muscle without the help of the higher insulin levels that carbs could help you with. And if you really want to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time (a frustrating endeavor, if there ever was one) there are only two...

    The "Sucked-Out" Gaunt Model Look

From a psychological perspective I doubt 4-5% bodyfat could be maintained for any great length of time. Considering that hormone levels drop precipitously at low bf% (for the non-naturally lean), you'd basically be reduced to being one cut-up, shredded zombie. In other words, you'd feel awfull...

Post M1T I have used, and will only continue to use Nolva. I'll not be sold on 6-OXO until there is more hard data on recovery with it vs Nolva and vs placebo.

Ephedrine, Caffine, and cardio on a bulk cycle?

If you really intend to gain muscle, forget the cardio. It's counterproductive, and will only cut into your caloric surplus and steal calories that would otherwise be used to build LBM. I know the idea is to keep fat down or lose fat while while bulking, but the body is too smart to be fooled...

How many calories in HST Creatine?

True, I never thought of that. Creatine is an amino acid after all, right?

Can anyone else relate to any of this!

A quick search on Lyle's forum produced this; Basically my original question there was, does how you achieve a calorie deficit make any difference in leptin levels? ----------------- Minimally at best. Different diet composition, whether you use exercise or caloric deficit, it all results in...
