FSQ; 5-60kg,80kg,100kg. 3-120kg@9.

DL; 3-200kg,220kg. 1-240kg,250kg,260kg@9. 2x3-235kg@8.

Had a bone-on-bone 2nd rep at 260kg there. Definitely felt as good as that weight has in a LONG time.

Unsure about preferred lower body assistance exercise. Maybe hip thrusts.

Soph decided to celebrate being 20months old by throwing a party for three at 3:18am for two hours...

Squats were cut for time issues.

DL; 3-200kg, 4x3-220kg@7. These felt fantastic.

Rows; 3x8-110kg@7.

DL; 3-200kg,220kg. [email protected] then 9.

FSQ; 5-60kg,80kg,100kg.

Still a recovering from Monday a bit, and thought I would be time-short for squats, so didn’t do them before deads and didn’t quite feel warmed up. End result is cut out 2 sets.

Deciding if I want to make Tuesday a PDL day. I prefer not impeding recovery from Monday’s max single, but by necessity the loads are lighter for paused than not.

Considered SLDL but they never seem to do too much for me, and they’re a world apart form wise. I don’t understand how Tom Martin gets such great value out of them, as we have not dissimilar builds in terms of leverages.

Block pulls maybe? I love doing them but don’t know about the carryover. They’re the best hypertrophy exercise for the back IMO, but deadlifting for me involves quads in the break.

Anyway, food for thought.

DL; 3-200kg,220kg. 1-240kg,260kg@9. 2x3-240kg@9.

Kept being a bit too far forward until final back-off triple. 260kg flew up to the knees then, of course, slowed because of forward pitch.

Probably had 270kg again but spent 6 or so hours walking yesterday so didn’t need the grind.
