i wouldn't do it with weights.
Try it with sprints...once again you will puke!

Stat cycle, punching bag, any other aerobic movement, but weights? Why again?
Then my own opinion, if you want to do it same day as the workout rather start with it, then do the workout, the punching bag worked just fine thelast time I and my partner tried this.
Still prefer it on off days, just before bathing!
I tried Tabata today and took an a$$ whooping. I did it with the squat/dumbell press. I could feel my heart pounding hard after the third cycle started. By the end my legs were rubber and my arms were limp.
All in all it was great and I plan on doing it once or twice a week from now on.
p.s. I used my wife for the timing portion of it....boy did she get a good laugh out of it.
