    Yeah, my squats usually respond well to a basic linear progression, and with a heavy day, squat variation day and a light day

    Last night

    Squats
    170 x5 @7
    Top set was a bit sloppy. Corrected the chest fall in the back off sets by focusing more on upper back tightness
    160 x5x4 @6

    Yeah was super easy! @6 puts my e1rm around the 245 mark, could get the wraps tighter too.

    Thinking a 260 squat is the aim for Feb,

    Would love
    260 squat
    170 bench
    275 deadlift

    Which would get me over the 700 mark

    Ever tried wraps in a deadlift? I’ve always wondered what happens if you position them a bit higher and have the drop-in kick.

    How’s your deadlift looking these days?

    Never really thought about deadlift with wraps, I don’t think they would help much, they give the most help in the squat in the hole so I don’t think they would carry over with the deadlift, and the wraps would probably snag on the bar

    Yeah deadlift is looking ok, hit a rep PR before Christmas.
