Dag, you're moving a lot of metal...!!

Yeah, that's pretty darn impressive. If you get 5 x 200kg you are leaving me for dust!

bear in mind Lol, you don't use much m time between your deads.

At 200kg I'd be using as much M-Time as possible! How about a day!

I think when you can do 5 consecutive reps with 200kg you can most likely get a single with 500lb. Looks like we have a common goal only mine will be delayed until the autumn while I shift all this fat.

thanks bax!

Great cleans. 5 with 195 and then 3 x 215 is a good effort and some serious work. I have no chance doing these again until my arm heals so you are going to be leaving me for dust soon.

You mean your leg?
FF, be careful with heavy preachers; they're elkillers! You might not want to hyperextend...or even straighten out. I won't even do them any more.

10-4 quad, I will be careful w/ them. appreciate the heads up.

thanks Lol! I doubt I can get much heavier than 225 for sets. it's getting harder to safely set the weight down.

I think it's awesome Sniggel. should've done it a long time ago.

one thing about cleans though, I have to make sure that I'm not overly fatigued when I do them. the movement is inherently dangerous if done carelessly, in my opinion. managing fatigue is key.

I think I prefer to do cleans on their own or, at least, do them first in a session - particularly if I was going for a PR. Have you tried that FF?

for the last two weeks, I've done cleans as a "PM" split after having finished squats/bench hours earlier.

never occurred to me to do cleans first in a session. I think that's because I've been focused on increasing my squat strength. it's a good idea for sure.

yeah...mixed feelings on that. the upside is strength but the down side is I know it would only take a few missed sessions to feel like a porker. glad that I started running again.

have also been wrestling quite a bit (to help local guys prepare for sunflower state games). I'm against the unlimited weight class guys in our coming tourneys, which actually makes me happy because they are weak sauce. (not talking behind their backs as they know my thoughts)

----------------------

skipped lifting today. I think I was scared of deadlifting, but use the excuse that I was busy hydro testing fire extinguishers all morning/day and am at my 2nd job now. unless it's too loud for the wife to sleep through, I'm going to at least squat and OHP when I get home. definitely won't be deadlifting heavy though (I've only got 390 in plates now
