Good.  Week 3 has some pretty high numbers, but I think I'll back off on the progression a little bit and go a little lighter.  Want to make sure I can get 3 more weeks before deload.

I knew today was going to be a good one for squats when warm up sets felt nice and smooth from the start. Normally feel all tight and rickety....old I suppose.

Today's food so far:

Breakfast 3 eggs
1C Oats Raw mixed with
1/2C skim milk
1/2C blueberries frozen
1Tbsp peanut butter
1 scoop chocolate whey
Pre Workout
2C Skim milk with 1 scoop whey and 1 1/2 banana
2.5 g creatine
Post
2C 2% with 1 1/2 scoops whey and 20 g sugar
1 english muffin with raspberry jelly
1 med. apple

Lunch
6 oz. chicken breast+ 1 slice swiss
2 whole wheat bread
2 C 2% milk
Dinner will be
1 12" cheese pizza
6oz of beef
Veggies
Bedtime
1C lowfat cottage cheese
2C 2% milk

Great squatting BAX!

I can hardly bring myself to read the rest of your log entry. Here's my day's food list by comparison:

Breakfast: 25g mixed nuts, 10g mixed seeds, 10g 85% cocoa dark choccy. 35g whey in water and 30ml orange juice.

Lunch: 2 large eggs (cooked in butter), 3 (thin'ish') rashers lean bacon (grilled), 5 plum tomatoes, a few sprinkles of paprika.

Dinner: 1 can tuna in oil, squeeze of lemon, a few slices of cucumber, a bit of lettuce and one seedless grape (chopped!)

Another shot of whey.

Water plus several cups of tea and coffee.

A bit of fish oil.

But now I get to carb-up! Joy!

My total calories for today come to 1175, with 83 grams of carbs.

I envy you your carbing up. I don't get to.
 
Thanks Lol and TR.  My days of dieting and cardio are soon approaching.  I took some bodyfat measurements yesterday and do not like the results.  I think my quest to reach 195 is history.

  The rollercoaster ride of getting bigger and stronger, smaller and weaker is a real bummer.  I may have to rethink my goals here.

1x20x75 max stim I liked it.

Will continue this for the rest of my cycle. I'll try max stim for chins on deadlift day too.

Fighting a monster head cold and sore throat today, so I may skip my workout. Will see how I feel this afternoon.

Max-Stim works for squats, too. It's a hassle re-racking the bar, but I just incorporate the re-racking time into my M-time. It's worth a bit of extra trouble for the amount of iron it lets you move.

Nope, this isn't the old Squats and Milk routine (I think that's what the Chinese use to interrogate prisoners...).

When I'm working Dan's program, I do 20 reps of Max-Stim once or twice a week -- and I'm just a little old man. M-time works wonders.
 
If you can master un-racking the bar so that you only need to take a single step back from the pins, squat, and then take a single step forward to rack the bar, MS squats are not so bad. If you still have to shuffle around to get your set-up right then MS squats are probably going to be frustrating.

), 20 squats with my 5RM scares the @£$% out of me too.

And as for 20 deads with my 5RM... my lower back is cramping up just thinking about it!

Yeah, I know it's not like Squats and Milk, but still 20 reps when it starts getting heavy(6repmax) even with m-time is scary. As for little old man, I think you should rephrase that to BAD A$$ little old man.

I could have gotten that last rep on bench, but started to cough on the way up. Thank god for the power rack. Felt pretty strong even though fighting a cold and some chest congestion. 235 Squats felt decent although I came a little forward on the last rep in set 5.

Going to deload starting Mon. and officially start a cut. Have been dieting all week averaging around 2500 cal./day.

I used a 2sec. m-time up to 5 reps on curls and skulls then increased it 1sec/rep after that, so on my 6 rep I used 6sec and so on. Is this right? Anyways, it felt like my arms were going to explode when I finished..

DB Fly and row just for some fun and for a pump....it worked. I'll continue to throw in some different exercises every workout to see what I can handle and to prepare for my next cycle at the start of the new year.
